![]() ![]() He has a sharp, long yellow beak and yellow claws.ĭiablo is first seen with Maleficent, crashing Aurora's christening. In Sleeping Beauty, Diablo is a black raven with pink bags under his eyes. ![]() When she captures Prince Phillip in the cottage, and later when she torments him in his cell, Diablo shows just as much pleasure as Maleficent herself. He's also second-in-command, having control over her goons, along with her. Unlike her goons, who Maleficent constantly abuses and treats as pathetic wastes, he serves as her confidante and assistant, more so than her lackey, joining her more often than not from scene to scene, and having complete knowledge of her devious plots. In return, he apparently cares a great deal for her, specifically seen when he fell into despair alongside her after her goons were revealed to have been searching for a baby for sixteen years, as opposed to a teenager, which Aurora would have been at that point in time. He is also the only one she genuinely cares about, and she is visibly horrified when she discovers him turned to stone. In addition, unlike the raven in Snow White, he is completely and genuinely loyal to her and, unlike the rest of her servants, he is competent and easily succeeds in his task to find Aurora, and sometimes notices things even Maleficent fails to. However, he plays a larger role in the storyline and is in almost every scene in which Maleficent appears. 4.4 Mistress of All Evil: A Tale of the Dark Fairyĭiablo appears to have a similar role to the raven in Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs.4.3 The Isle of the Lost: A Descendants Novel. But I say let’s keep this godly set of creative genius of characters from 20 years ago alive as we carry them through sanctuary in a new game. The bosses will be new, enemies new, towns and zones new, gameplay new, items new, spells and visuals new. The story is going to be a new story built off of and continuing from the last three games storylines. ![]() Changing them too much or just leaving some out just for the sake of having something new doesn’t add up. I know the saying “out with the old” - But I cannot stress enough that every Diablo fan I talk to and play with 100% agrees on exactly this roster.Ĭonsidering they’ve already painted the characters and their origins around the story of Diablo. I see no reason for the Diablo franchise to deviate from this awesome and creative assembly that truly speaks and sets the tone for this game and the games storyline. If it ain’t broken don’t fix it.īarbarian - Melee Tank with duel wielding capabilities Druid - Melee shapeshifter and elemental control/ casting and some healing spells Sorceress - Designated damage Caster Elemental and arcane spells Rogue - Versatile Ranged and or Melee stealth fighter Paladin - Melee with strong Defence and or Offence capabilities with party buffs Necromancer - Caster dark magic/ corpse mutilation and Summoner with crowd control effects Assassin/ Demon hunter (unless they molded assassin abilities into the Rogue) - Bursty Melee and or Ranged stealth fighter using tools/ traps for crowd control Basically I’m just hoping that the Paladin/ Crusader/ Warrior of the light and Necromancer make it to the Roster and not some weird hybrids or out of Diablos storyline characters pop up and just try to steal the show and dump over a roster that already has so much depth and gameplay style to it. ![]() For example- the amount of complaints about the Witch Doctor and Monk from Diablo 3 still are heard to this day. I’m ok with a little twist but completely New!? The D2 roster was perfect end of story. But there are these spiralling ideas I’ve read of completely new class ideas or twists for new classes. From what I’ve seen the Rogue seems to be a combination of Assassin and Amazon. Sure spice them up with a new found outlook or purpose if needed but keep that base. I see no reason to leave out the Paladin and Necromancer and not keep that base. Having so far the Barb, Druid, Sorce and now Rogue confirmed. Me and EVERY person I’ve played and still play with, Feel that the Diablo 2 roster was THE perfect roster and should be relived in the game Diablo 4. However I’m sure there’s still ideas in the air of what characters to bring in next in to 4 and I just want to make this as clear as possible. A bit of background here- I played Diablo I and II for years when they released, I still to this day currently play Diablo 2 & 3 and am stoked for the resurrected and 4 launch. I wanted to offer my and others opinions of the characters for the up coming Diablo 4. With the arrival of the newest character class(Rogue) just being announced. ![]()
